Easton's 200th Anniv. Parade

On 04/19/2008 Sta. 50 rolled the house to participate in Easton VFD 200th Anniv. Parade. We won the following trophies:
2nd Best Appearing Tanker 2500 gallon and up
Best Appearing Marching Unit
2nd Best Appearing Color Guard
2nd Best Appearing Ladies Aux.
2nd Best Appearing Engine with greater than 20 years of service
2nd Best Appearing Rescue Engine
Best Appearing Fire Prevention Unit

MVA Three Bridge Branch Road

At 19:28 on 05/05/2008, Sta. 50 and TCEMS were dispatched for a MVA at the intersection of Three Bridge Branch Road and Church Lane. U-57 (501 Secrist), E-51 (FF Rice), E-54 (504 Larmore), and PM-51 responded on the call from Sta. 50. Two vehicles were involved, with all patient refusals. U-57 and E-51 remained on the scene to assist Sheriff's Dept. with clean up, while all other units went in service.
Flyout With Trooper 6
Sta. 50 was alerted at 11:39 on 5/4/2008 for a medical assist to setup an LZ. E-54 (501 Secrist) responded on the call and set up the LZ in a field adjacent to the residence. One patient with a traumatic injury was flown by Trooper 6 to Shock Trauma. E-54 and PM-51 cleared the scene at 12:04.
FDIC 2008 Convention
From 4/7 - 4-11/2008 6 line officers from three local departments attended the FDIC 2008 Convention in Indianapolis, IN. The officers were Mark Secrist CVFA, Adam Mayock OVFD, Drew Jensen EVFD, C.R. Chance EVFD, Jamie McNeal EVFD, and Sonny Jones EVFD. They received training on a wide range of topics that will benefit all of the officers and the companies they serve. While returning from the convention, they had a photo op with Paul Teutul Sr. - pictured above.
Overturned Tractor Trailer

At 09:56 on 3/3/2008 Sta. 50 and TCEMS were dispatched for an over turned tractor trailer on Reese's Landing Road. E-51 (512 Dulin) and E-54 responded on the call. The units arrived on location to find an truck transporting live chickens that had over turned in the ditch. Their were no injuries and units cleared at 10:23.
