Tractor Trailer MVA

At a 05:30 on July 12, 2011 Talbot Center dispatched Sta. 50 and PM-90 for a serious MVA with entrapment on Church Lane.  When E-51 (501 Secrist) responded, Talbot Center advised the MVA was an overturned tractor trailer with confirmed entrapment.  501 added Sta. 80 for a rescue to the assignment.  Engine 51 arrived on location with an overturned tractor trailer with heavy entrapment of the driver and assumed "Church Lane Command".  The crews from E-51 and R-84 worked to remove the trapped driver in 15 minutes.  Trooper 6 transported the driver to Shock Trauma.  Command requested the pump off trailer from Talbot County and MDE to respond for the leaking saddle tanks.  The crews also attempted to slow the leak of milk from the overturned trailer.   The crew from Sta. 50 remained on scene during clean up and the uprighting of the truck, and returned to service at 12:30.
