Monday, October 19, 2009 at 08:55AM
At 1:40 on 10/18/2009 Sta. 50 was alerted on the initial dispatch to assist Caroline Sta. 200 with a odor of smoke in the residence at 22350 Hog Creek Road. When Chief 2 (215 Milligan) arrived on location, he advised smoke showing from the attic and established Hog Creek Command. Shortly afterwards fire blew out the 2nd floor windows. The crews from E-54 (501 Secrist) assisted with suppression and overhaul. The incident went to a 2nd alarm for additional equipment and manpower, which included T-53 (FF Faulkner) from Sta. 50. Cordova units cleared the scene at approximately 04:00. Additional photos are located in the Photo Gallery. Thanks to Bruce Secrist for the photos.
