Greg Hamilton
Friday, April 15, 2011 at 09:59AM The officers and members of the Cordova Vol. Firemen's Assoc. send our sympathies to the the officers and members of Queen Anne-Hillsboro on the untimely passing of Firefighter/Paramedic Greg Hamilton. Greg answered his last alarm on Tuesday April 12th. Greg was involved in an auto accident on Maryland Route 404 and Maryland Route 16 while returning home from his job as a paramedic for Delmar Fire Company.
Greg has proudly served the Queen Anne- Hillsboro Fire Company for the past 6 years. He was very active serving in many positions and had served the company proudly in the role of EMS Captain. Greg was always involved in EMS and proudly served the fire company as one of their most active paramedics.
Greg was a brother and well known through out the Fire / EMS Service. Greg not only volunteered for Queen Anne-Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Company but he also was employed with the Goodwill Fire Company and Delmar Fire Company. Greg always provided excellent patient care with pride and dignity. Greg was also an active member of the Maryland Red Knights Chapter 2 in Easton.
Arrangements are as follows:
Visitation Tuesday April 19th from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home in Centreville
Services Wednesday April 20 at 11:00 at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Chester
