
During our annual BullRoast on 3/17/2007, Cordova Vol. Firemen's Assoc. (Sta. 50) was alerted at 23:16 for a house fire in the area of 11299 Old Cordova Road. The initial alert included Oxford E-27 which was on standby at Sta. 50 for the BullRoast, Cordova (Sta. 50), and Easton (Sta. 60). E-27 arrived on location with a single story residence with a working fire, and passed command. E-54 (Secrist) arrived on location right behind E-27 and laid a supply line up the lane. 502 - Secrist assumed Old Cordova Road Command. A crew from E-54 make an interior attack, while the crew from E-27 stretched several lines to the exterior of the residence. Command requested a tanker from Queen Anne Hillsboro (Sta. 80) and a standby for Sta. 50. Crews from Sta. 60 assisted with search, ventilation, and overhaul. E-85 stoodby at Sta. 50 during the call. Sta 50 units and E-27 remained on the scene while FM-61 investigated the scene. All units cleared the scene at 03:41. For additional photos, see the photo gallery.
